With the Super Bowl right around the corner, it is the perfect time to share one of the go-to dip recipes I have been making for years, Cheesy Bacon, Jalapeno, and Corn Dip. This is one of the first dips I ever made, and it was such a hit that I continue making it to this day. Some of the events I make this dip for are gatherings with friends and family, any sporting event gathering we host or attend, and even summer cookouts!
This cheesy, creamy, smoky, and slightly spicy dip is so good that your guests will ask for the recipe to make it themselves. The corn provides a nice texture and a hint of sweetness, the bacon provides a nice smoky flavor, and the jalapeño adds just a touch of spiciness—not enough for someone who doesn’t like spice. It’s genuinely a dip everyone will enjoy.
This Cheesy Bacon, Jalapeño, and Corn Dip can easily be made beforehand. All you need to do is mix the ingredients, top with cheese, cover, and refrigerate until ready to bake it. I have made this dip many times to take with us to a gathering, and I either bake it before we go or bake it once we get there.
With little effort and time, you can have this crave-able dip to take to the Super Bowl party you’re attending or to serve this summer at your backyard cookout. Mouth-watering? Mine, too…let’s dive into what you need to make this Cheesy Bacon, Jalapeño, and Corn Dip!
Ingredients for Cheesy Bacon, Jalapeno, and Corn Dip
Complete instructions on how to make this Cheesy Bacon, Jalapeno, and Corn Dip are step-by-step in the recipe box below. Here are a few quick notes on the ingredients needed to make this recipe:
Cream cheese: is the base of the dip, making it creamy and delicious. To ensure a well-mixed dip, soften the cream cheese before mixing.
Bacon: The bacon is cooked, chopped into bits, and mixed into the dip, adding a nice smoky flavor.
Jalapeno: seeds and stems removed, the jalapeño brings a nice flavor and slight spice to the dip.
Corn: Corn adds a great texture and a slight sweetness to the dip. You can use canned, fresh, or frozen. I would thaw a bit if frozen to help mix the dip easier.
Mozzarella: helps with the creaminess and cheesiness of the dip!
Parmesan: adds a nice salty touch to the dip.
Basil: fresh is preferred here, but you can also use dried.
Cayenne: is optional. If you aren’t into spicy things, skip it. Otherwise, I highly recommend a dash.
