Where are all of my peanut butter with chocolate lovers? These traditional peanut butter cookies drizzled with chocolate are my version of a perfect cookie! The perfect peanut butter cookie is soft and chewy in the center, slightly crisp on the edges, and has the ideal peanut butter taste. Paired with a decadent chocolate drizzle, you will have cookies that will not disappoint.

One thing I love about these cookies, besides the flavor profile, is that you don’t have to chill the dough. When making cookies, I rarely have the patience or enough time to chill the dough for hours before I can bake them. So I created this recipe where you can bake the cookies directly after making the dough, and they are perfect!

Chocolate-Drizzled Peanut Butter Cookies Ingredients:

Dry Ingredients: When measuring the flour, level it off. The baking soda helps the cookies rise, and the salt enhances the flavors.

Butter: Butter is essential for all cookie recipes. Make sure your butter is at room temperature or softened before using it.

Sugar: Combining brown and granulated sugar makes these cookies chewy and soft- the perfect combination!

Egg: One egg is used to help bind the dough together.

Peanut butter: Of course, the star of the show! I like to use natural, creamy peanut butter with only peanuts and no other ingredients.

Vanilla: Adds a nice depth of flavor to the cookies.

Chocolate is optional but highly recommended for its delicious chocolate-peanut butter flavor! I like to use unsweetened chocolate. I will list a couple of my favorites below in the ” Shop This Post” section!

Chocolate-Drizzled Peanut Butter Cookie Variations:

Chocolate chips: You could add chocolate chips to the dough before baking if you want the chocolate-peanut butter flavor but don’t want the mess of melted chocolate.

Plain: You could forgo the chocolate and bake delicious peanut butter cookies!

Sugar-coated: If you like to add texture to your peanut butter cookies, you could roll the dough in granulated sugar before making the cross-hatch pattern and baking them.

Chocolate-Drizzled Peanut Butter Cookies

Try these delicious chocolate drizzled peanut butter cookies. No chilling needed for quick and tasty homemade treats.

Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Flour all-purpose
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Butter softened
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Sugar granulated
  • 1 cup Peanut butter creamy
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 8 oz Chocolate melted

Instructions

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Combine the dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, and salt) in a small bowl and set aside.
  • Using a stand or hand mixer, cream the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. This will take about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add in the peanut butter, egg, and vanilla. Mix to combine.
  • Add in the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  • Using two tablespoons of sough, roll into a ball and set on the parchment paper. Leaving about 2 inches of space between each ball. You must bake the cookies in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan.
  • Using a fork, make a cross-hatch pattern once the dough is placed on the baking sheet.
  • Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes or until the dough starts to brown on the edges.
  • Remove cookies from the oven and let cool completely on a wire rack.
  • Once the cookies are completely cooled, melt the chocolate carefully so it doesn't burn. Drizzle each cookie with the melted chocolate to your liking.
