Mini Pigs In A Blanket with Homemade Dough

Ingredients

Homemade Dough Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups Flour all-purpose
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 package Instant yeast 2 1/4 tsp
  • 1/2 cup Milk warmed
  • 1/4 cup Butter melted

Mini Pigs In A Blanket Ingredients:

  • 1 package Mini hot dogs or 30 mini hot dogs
  • 1/2 cup Shredded cheddar cheese optional
  • 1 Tbsp Jalapenos diced and optional
  • 1 tsp Everything but the bagel optional

Instructions

Homemade Dough Instructions:

  • Combine all of your ingredients in a large bowl. Then divide in half.
  • Roll out one half at a time into a thin rectangle. Cut into thin triangles using a pizza cutter or sharp knife.

Mini Pigs In A Blanket Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees
  • Roll the mini hot dogs up one at a time, starting at the thicker end of the triangle.
  • Place the hot dogs, rolled with dough, on a parchment-lined baking sheet with about 1" between each hot dog.
  • Bake for about 10-15 minutes or until the dough turns golden on the outside.

Topping Variation:

  • If you want to add cheese, jalapenos, bacon, or any other topping of your choice, you will add these ingredients on top of the dough triangles before rolling your hot dogs up.
