Chocolate Chip Cookie Skillet

Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Butter unsalted and softened
  • 1 cup Brown sugar light
  • 1/2 cup Cane sugar or granulated
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Egg yolk
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 1.5 cups Chocolate chips

  • Prep the oven and pan: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 12" cast iron skillet with butter or nonstick spray.
  • Combine the dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl. Set aside.
  • Mix the wet ingredients: Cream the butter, brown sugar, and cane sugar in a large bowl. Once creamed together, add the eggs and vanilla. Mix until just combined.
  • Combine the dry and wet: Mix in the dry ingredients until combined, leaving a few flour streaks. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Bake: Spread the cookie dough into the greased cast iron skillet. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
  • Serve: Warm or at room temperature, and enjoy!
