Prep the oven and pan: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 12" cast iron skillet with butter or nonstick spray.
Combine the dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl. Set aside.
Mix the wet ingredients: Cream the butter, brown sugar, and cane sugar in a large bowl. Once creamed together, add the eggs and vanilla. Mix until just combined.
Combine the dry and wet: Mix in the dry ingredients until combined, leaving a few flour streaks. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Bake: Spread the cookie dough into the greased cast iron skillet. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
Serve: Warm or at room temperature, and enjoy!
